For Chris Beatty, landscape architecture is about more than design, it’s about crafting places that are built to last and deeply connected to the people who use them. As CultivateLAND’s Construction Project Manager, Chris ensures that vision and execution align, overseeing the construction process with a focus on durability, sustainability, and attention to detail. He believes that the most successful projects emerge from a collaborative approach, where designers, contractors, and clients work together to create meaningful, well-crafted spaces.
Chris’s entrepreneurial spirit and self-motivation have shaped his career from the start. At just 12 years old, he and his brother launched a landscaping business that quickly evolved from basic lawn care to designing and constructing outdoor living spaces. This hands-on experience instilled a deep appreciation for how thoughtful planning and skilled execution transform an idea into a lasting place. That early drive led him to pursue a degree in Landscape Architecture from Texas Tech University and later into roles at Dewberry Engineers and KGA/DeForest Design, where he honed his expertise in construction documentation, site development, and sustainable building practices.

Beyond his work, Chris finds inspiration in nature, whether hiking, camping, or studying how ecosystems sustain themselves over time. He is also dedicated to giving back through community service, having participated in disaster relief efforts and mission trips. At CultivateLAND, Chris channels these experiences into his work, helping shape landscapes that stand the test of time while fostering connection and purpose.
